DOMAINE A.F. GROS
Domaine A.F. Gros was established in 1988 by Jean’s daughter, Anne-Francois, when the Gros family's domaine was split in four parts. Anne-Francois has inherited around 4 hectares of vineyards. Together with her husband, Francois Parent, she managed to increase the size of the domaine and acquire vineyards in Pommard, Savigny-lès-Beaune and Flagey-Echezeaux. Francois PARENT has been a winemaker of the domaine since its creation. Its reputation are known worldwide; its wines are a perfect expression of pinot noir, a unique combination of elegance and depth. Today, 2 of their children work on the estate, Caroline and Mathias. The brother and sister share one winemaking, the management, development and marketing of the estate's wines. The wines produced at this domaine are not about power, but more seduction and purity. They are poised, supreme class and brings a broad smile to the face of any Pinot Noir aficionado. The Hautes Cotes de Nuits from A.F Gros is a stunning example and it would easily pass for a top notch Vosne Romanee.
