DOMAINE DE MANDELOT
Domaine de Mandelot is a new domaine located in the village of Mandelot, in the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. Founded by François Grangé, an experienced winemaker who spent 15 years managing the vineyards at Chandon de Briailles, the domaine covers 10 hectares of organically farmed vines. François applies his extensive experience in organic viticulture and horse ploughing, with some parcels treated using natural methods without sulphur. The domaine’s first vintage was 2023, following François’ decision to begin vinifying his own grapes rather than selling them. In the cellar, the wines are made with a natural, low-intervention approach, with no additions or added sulphites during vinification. The domaine works with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Aligoté and Pinot Noir, producing precise and elegant red, white and maceration wines that express their individual parcels.
