DOMAINE MICHEL LAFARGE
The Lafarge domaine is run very much by instinct and respect for the terroir with no sense of imposition with biodynamic techniques. The wines are allowed to speak for themselves and are wonderfully fragrant complex and harmonious the essence of great Volnay. Frederic and Chantal Lafarge have a new small domaine of 4-hectares in the Beaujolais, which their vines are located in Fleurie and Chiroubles, quite old vines. The first vintage is 2014 and the vines were already, “very well cared for, mainly organic” and as you would expect, they immediately set out on a biodynamic course.
