DOMAINE GROS FRERE ET SOEUR
Domaine Gros Frere et Soeur, located in Vosne-Romanee was created in 1963 from Louis Gros' distribution of the estate. In the beginning, the Domaine united in a family home, the inheritance of two out of four children, Colette and Gustave. In 1984, Gustave died; Bernard Gros, his nephew took over with Colette. Bernard replanted all the parcels one after the other. He increased the size of the vineyard by 12 ha, by creating in Concoeur et Corboin, a hameau located north of Vosne-Romanee, designed to produce high quality wine with the appellation 'Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits'.
The Domaine aims to elaborate wine which matches the standards of the terroir while using the best modern techniques. Nowadays this estate produces 8 appellations. When musical notes enchant fruit hint, music sublimates wine... or maybe it's the other way around...
