DOMAINE CAMILLE THIRIET
Domaine Camille Thiriet, founded in 2016 in Corgoloin, Côte-d'Or, operates with a commitment to artisanal winemaking, using traditional methods like foot treading and ratchet pressing, and avoiding additives except for a pinch of sulfur. The focus is on producing small quantities of discreet, high-quality appellations.
Canadian-born Matt Chittick and Burgundian Camille Thiriet, who met at Domaine de Bellene where Matt was cellar master and Camille handled sales, combined their expertise to create their own domaine. Their experience and connections in the Côte d'Or help them source exceptional fruit.
In 2021, they acquired 0.80 hectares of Côte de Nuits Villages "LE Clos Magny" in Corgoloin, followed by a 2022 takeover of Domaine Gilles Jourdan, adding 5 hectares. This expansion allows them to further realize their vision of crafting exquisite wines from beautiful terroirs.
