“Limoux A unique terroir, The first sparkling wine in the world”
In 1531, wines from Limoux stepped into the world stage, thanks to Benedictine monks from the St Hilaire abbey, a neighboring village, who created the first sparkling wine in the world. In 1946, the founding winemakers of the winery christened the cellar: Sieur d’Arques. This cuvee is the fruit of 25 years of research. A light wine with primary aromas of white fruit, peach, pear and toasted brioche, worthy of the greatest bubble wine with pretty yellow pale dress & green tints. Fine bubbles and persistent with delicate foam. This wine has aromas of white flowers and fruit with white flesh that align with the subtle notes of dried fruit, like aromas of roasted, toasted for bringing harmony brioche bouquet, its freshness and vitality. The attack is lively with a sensation of smoothness provided by the bubbles. All in harmony, balanced and fresh!
