DOMAINE GROS FRERE ET SOEUR
Gros Frère et Soeur originated from the division of the Louis Gros estate in 1963. Gustave and Colette Gros combined their shares to form Gros Frère et Soeur, and this was divided among his four children. In 1984, Gustave died and Bernard Gros, his nephew, took over. Bernard and his son Vincent now run the estate together. Bertrand is a firm believer in low yields as the key to producing concentrated wines with pure fruity flavors. His wine has strong and unique characteristics The wines are vinified in cement vats and are then matured in oak casks to be deeply colored, richly aromatic on the nose, and full-bodied on the palate.
